Big-data and digital technologies are driving business transformation that is unlocking new capabilities and business innovations in areas like eCommerce, mobile experiences and IoT. The key to winning in these areas is being able to leverage enterprise data foundations built on PepsiCo’s global business scale to enable business insights, advanced analytics, and new product development. PepsiCo’s Data Management and Operations team is tasked with the responsibility of developing quality data collection processes, maintaining the integrity of our data foundations, and enabling business leaders and data scientists across the company to have rapid access to the data they need for decision-making and innovation.**What PepsiCo Data Management and Operations does**:- Maintain a predictable, transparent, global operating rhythm that ensures always-on access to high-quality data for stakeholders across the company- Responsible for day-to-day data collection, transportation, maintenance/curation, and access to the PepsiCo corporate data asset- Work cross-functionally across the enterprise to centralize data and standardize it for use by business, data science or other stakeholders- Increase awareness about available data and democratize access to it across the company- Periodically review the various process documentation of the sub processes within the team.- Perform data maintenance in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) environment and ensure high quality data per the defined global template rules/standards- Ongoing monitoring and profiling for cleansing and validation of data for Items, material related queries.- Constantly evaluating the processes within the team to generate and implement process improvement ideas in order to bring efficiency within the processes.- Applies PepsiCo governance standards to the data objects/data management and problem resolution- Basic knowledge of formal data governance practices and ability to conduct root cause analysis and sees connections between data and process.- For simple to medium complexity analytical tasks, able to analyze with some direction and identifying the relationships between those parts of the information. For highly complex analytical tasks, able to do this analysis methodically with some direction.- Interface with business partners as an expert in explaining and relating how data impacts their business function- Fully understand data, systems, and end to end business processes within multiple functional areas.- Implement controls to increase compliance to data standards, completeness, and usage- Actively participate in coaching and mentoring and giving timely feedback to the junior team members. Guiding the team members with best practices and approaches for a given problem.The DMO Associate Analyst in the customer domain will be responsible for collecting, evaluating, and aligning master data process information into MDG, S4 HANA in accordance with Data Governance Policies & the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT Program).
