Jr. Developer Engineer

Department Overview:**Responsibilities**:- Triage, troubleshoot, escalate and provide resolution to production tickets for Incidents and Requests.- Take ownership of customer issues, including initial troubleshooting, identification of root cause and issue resolution or escalation.- Generate and standardize documentation for past and future projects.Qualifications:- 2+ years of experience in software development/coding- Experience or knowledge with projects including artificial intelillence.- Master degree in artificial intelillence is desirable.- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills as a fast learner.- Enthusiastic with proven ability to work with mínimal supervision and efficient time management skills- Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.- Outstanding analytical and organizational abilities.- Ability to remain calm, composed and articulate when dealing with tough production situations.- Experience and good understanding of coding languages (Java, Javascript, Python, PHP, C++, Bash)- Experience in DB (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, NoSQL databases)- Experience in front-end coding such as CSS, HTML, Bootstrap- Experience in a Cloud Computing system- Experience with log analysis & monitoring tools like Sumo Logic & New RelicExperience with Linux and MacOS environments.- B2+ English skillsLI-SG1LI-RemoteINDCompany Overview:**ABOUT OPORTUN**Oportun (Nasdaq: OPRT) is a financial services company and digital platform that provides responsible consumer credit to hardworking people in the United States.
