If you’re willing to contribute and create value for tomorrow’s cleaner and smarter mobility, Faurecia is the place to be.The Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer manage the supplier’s quality performance (timing, quality, delivery, service) from program award to launch and supports the deliverables of the Program Quality Leader and Program Purchasing Leader. The number of assigned programs depends on criteria such as number of components, timing, technologies, supplier and plant locations, etc.**Responsibilities**:- Communicate and train the suppliers on Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) requirements for on time delivery of all APQP elements- Manage APQP activities related to development phase of Bought Out Parts (BOP), catalog parts and incoming materials- Manage the APQP process for production transfer of BOP, catalog parts and incoming materials- Monitor and share the APQP progress status with the program team to meet Production- Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements- Hand over supplier APQP and PPAP package to the plant Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) upon successful PPAP sign-off prior to start of production (SOP)- He/She is the voice of the supplier inside the customer business unit, but he/she represents Faurecia while visiting the supplier- Propose recommendations on technical choices to ensure the product/process robustness during program development (for both suppliers and Faurecia plant)- Manages the BOP qualification process at suppliers’ site (key characteristics, control plan and quality basics implementation, mass production trial & process audit)- Ensure BOP and materials are compliant with safety/regulatory and customer specific requirements during the entire development phase- Manages progress/convergence plan with underperforming suppliers involved in program in collaboration with Division Supplier Quality Development (SQD)- Capture past Warranty issues and lessons learned for new BOP development- Lead monthly Supplier Performance Reviews and monitor the closing of corrective action plansEducation / Experience:- Minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management or technician with equivalent combination of education and experience preferred- 3 years of proven Quality function experience in the Automotive industry. For new comers, a mentor should be nominated- Experience with various Quality system methodologies: 8D, 3 Legs and 5 Why´s, LEAN manufacturing, Pareto analysis and statistical studies- Certified Auditor in Automotive requirements (ISO 9001/ IATF 16949, VDA, etc.) preferred- Certified in all AIAG/VDA Core Tools (PPAP, MSA, FMEA, APQP, SPC) preferredKnowledge / Skills:- Knowledge of automotive quality standards and methods (ISO-9001, IATF-16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, etc.)- Knowledge of:- OEM specific quality requirements- Company’s products and technologies- Autonomy and Leadership mindset- Capability to build and manage network- Best practice sharing and improvement mindset- Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skillsFaurecia is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
