The Quality Engineer coordinates and assists in quality activities related to the New Product Introduction (NPI), Supplier evaluation, and Customer related issues and complaints. This position will impact the following areas: - NPI - Creation, storing and updating of customer specifications following Documented Information Policy. - Supplier Evaluation - Ability to assess a suppliers quality performance utilizing the ISO 9001 standard. - Customer related compliance documentation- Operations- Tlaxcala, Mexico**Job description**:Main responsibilities and key activities:1. Develop customer specifications (fabrics) that comprise of the following characteristics:- Product Identification - Construction Details - Finishing Details - Color Characteristics - Physical Characteristics - Pattern Requirements - Regulatory Requirements - Cleaning Requirements - Acceptance Criteria - Fabric Roll Packaging / Labeling2. Maintain, Archive, and Distribute customer specifications within the organization (covers andfabrics), including updated revisions following BDNA Document Control Policy.3. Approve and redistribute any specifications revisions due to engineering change orders.4. Certification Profiles- Report data to customer in customer formats to NPI Engineer via Propel.Report any data errors and elevate any concerns/issue to NPI Engineer via Propel.5. Maintain and distribute Certificates of Analysis COA’s for external customers and TechnicalCards for Latin American customers via SAP system.6. Make available collection of compliance, regulatory and specification documentation as neededfor the completion of customer PPAP.7. Prepare and submit/coordinate any external/internal testing requirements as requested related tocompliance and/or regulatory requests. Manage records results and communicate via Propel onthose results.8. Assist the Customer Quality Manager to develop training materials and support systems.**Profile**:Professional qualifications and knowledge:- University degree- Minimum 2 to 5 years of leadership experience in related field required with engineering experience aplus.- Affinity with working in an international context- Textile experience desired- Working knowledge of English is a must- ISO9001:2015 Knowledge is mandatory**Our offer**:Competitive salaryBenefits and benefits above the lawMedical and dental insuranceLabor Flexibility Policy (Hybrid Scheme)
