You will understand and estimate return rates, component usage rates, repair operation set ups, build demand and forecast models for service parts and align with business strategy and operations, and manage component planning and communicate about inventory metrics with our business partners.**Responsibilities**:- Provide accurate and insightful forecast for various products across the globe.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring service needs are fully covered, (e.g., demand planning, supply planning, inventory management and operations).- Drive product success metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory Weeks of Supply (WOS), excess and obsolescence, material spend, customer fulfillment rates, etc.- Manage component inventory for warranty requirements to maximize customer service levels and mitigate excess and obsolescence risks. Analyze repair databases and identify component usage rates and trends during product life cycle.- Support last time buys by providing accurate, reliable inputs from demand model and forecast.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
