We’re looking for people who are passionate about payments to chart Worldpay’s path to being the largest and most-loved payments company in the world.**About the role**:In a Corporate Counsel role, you will manage legal business matters to protect the enterprise’s rights in contract negotiations business practices and litigation. As part of a legal team, your focus will be essentially on contract negotiations and payment legal framework legal advice. You will also provide support on employment law, corporate compliance, litigation support, intellectual property and AML.**What you will be doing**:- Prepare and negotiate contracts while providing legal advice and counsel to business units in areas that include payment industry, software licensing, data security, privacy and regulatory matters.- Performing legal analysis on commercial and payment industry contracts.- Advise colleagues on legal issues relating to commercial contracts, product development, corporate governance and compliance.**What you will need**:- Experience drafting payment services agreements, fintech agreements and general commercial contracts- Strong contract negotiation skills and knowledge on fintech and payments Mexican laws.- Ability to review and evaluate multi-faceted issues and counsel business colleagues on complex legal questions relating to various business matters.- A college degree and a Juris Doctor from an accredited US law school in Mexico- Licensed to practice law in Mexico**What we offer you**:- Opportunities to innovate in fintech- Tools for personal and professional growth- Inclusive and diverse work environment- Resources to invest in your community- Competitive salary and benefits**Privacy Statement**FIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
