The Mexico Intl Trade Specialist will provide support in maintaining an import / export logistics operation door to door process.Will interact with internal and external partners at all levels and will work both independently and with other members of the Order Management, Customer Care and other Departments on a variety of import/export compliance related activities to ensure compliance and minimize associated risk to the Company while supporting business growth goals.**Responsibilities**:- Supports the International Trade Org on day-to-day import / export activities.- Experience with drop shipment operations.- Prepares monthly reports to review all import and export operations.- Strong knowledge of USMCA and TLCUEM FTA programs.- Knowledge of different Mexican ports and borders, strong experience working with Veracruz and Laredo is required.- Experience with virtual, definitive and temporal import and export operations (A1, V1, V5, BM, K1 pedimentos)- Daily follow up of purchase orders, tracking of all shipments, import and export processes and follow the shipment until it reaches the final destination (door to door process).- Follow up payments to brokers and forwarders.- Review KPI´s of brokers and other international suppliers.- Experience capturing the export invoice (CFDI) and coordinate with the areas the export process.- Analysis and executing intl logistics process by coordinating freight in all modals / incoterms required.- Assists with product classification: Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).- Supports the preparation of international shipping documentation and facilitates shipments to foreign customers focusing on door to door process.- Support programs and projects that take advantage of Free Trade Agreements (including management of certificates of origin reports) and other duty-savings opportunities.- Oversee recordkeeping requirements for related activities in accordance with company’s trade compliance strategy and policy.- Analyzes reports and metrics pertaining to various elements of import / export processes.- Performs other duties and projects as required.- Sustains active participation in continuous improvement efforts.**Education & Certifications**:- **Bachelor Degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade or International Business are preferred.****Requirements**:- Knowledge export / import processes, mainly in door to door process, international logistics, as well as, special programs such as FTA programs, COO, back to back, drop shipment and product classification.- Solid knowledge of Ley Aduanera, Anexo 22 and RGCE.- Detail Oriented and capable of handling personal interactions with all departments and internal customers.- Ability to work in a cross functional environment- Self-starter/team player- Strong soft communication/interpersonal skills- Proactive- English Advanced.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills required- Advanced skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Oracle.- Negotiation skills oriented to port/customs/airport fees.
