Role Overview Technology & Global Services Plant Information Technology Leader Responsibilities Manufacturing environment IT position focused on customer empowerment & success through tight customer relationships, Lean & Continuous Improvement initiatives, enterprise support leveraging, standards, and collaboration between sites. Act as the conduit between Local Manufacturing Operations and our enterprise Technology & Global Services group (TGS), partnering with the Plant Leadership Team and other TGS towers to actively engage in facilitating, managing, improving, sustaining, and reporting regarding plant IT initiatives. Serve as the Plant IT Business Partner providing local ownership of BDX Technology and direct route to TGS leadership. Facilitate conversations & build partnerships; manage escalation and ownership of issues and concerns. Provide communication, support, direction, and guidance for initiatives. Manage site‑specific technologies and leverage/standardize across sites where applicable. Lead technology integration and local IT project management, including vendor support. Assess infrastructure needs, purchased/un‑installed equipment, IT/OT refresh & roadmaps, and address unused or retired hardware. Handle budgetary and ASR considerations, forecast local requirements, and provide enterprise accountability for local technologies. Oversee refresh and expansion requirements for new lines, labs, and warehouse facilities. Manage application lifecycle, portfolio, and procedural guidance, collaborating with stakeholders. Support IDF MDF maintenance, capacity planning, and upgrades to operational technology in the IT domain. Represent compliance, CI, and safety initiatives, including DR BCP, backup and restore processes, and critical systems inventory. Ensure software validation, simplified processes tied to local requirements, ISO, Lean, CI initiatives, audit support, and E2E CI process guidance. Qualifications Technical background in infrastructure, PC server, firewall, network, development, or manufacturing execution systems. Experience with continuous improvement. Strong communication skills. Project management experience. Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred). Regulatory background a plus.
