**Job Description Summary**: As an Electrical Systems Advanced Lead Engineer (E4) you will be part of a world-class global engineering team. In this role you will:- Lead and/or provide key technical direction.- Be a leader in defining state of the art in own technical specialty to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop technologies for NPI, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution.- Support other disciplines, functions, customers and suppliers.- Demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes.- Provide technical engineering support to resolve production, manufacturing. quality and delivery issues.- Develop and maintain program plans to comply with customer needs by managing projects within budgets and schedules.- Identify, develop, evaluate, introduce, and support manufacturing, production, quality and delivery of FADEC electronic controls related issues to meet short-term and long-term needs of commercial aviation electrical components.- The Electrical Systems FADEC design engineer (E4) will have engineering responsibility for the production, manufacturing, quality and delivery support of FADEC and electronic components in various commercial aviation programs either in revenue service or in development.- Coach and mentor others in the manufacturing, production testing and/or quality and delivery related to FADEC and electronic components, assemblies or process that meet business standards, practices and procedures, and meet the product/program requirements.- Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards and special security requirements.- Provide technical engineering support to improve or resolve production, manufacturing, quality or delivery issues.- Document technical data generated to substantiate the assigned components, assemblies processes and/or systems consistent with engineering policies and procedures.- Monitor and effectively communicate project status, business issues and significant developments.- Participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews.- Lead the investigation and solution of complex technical problems.- Utilize LEAN and Six Sigma tools to improve current business products and processes.- Document successful Six Sigma projects via Green Belt reports and/or presentations.- Concurrently work on multiple projects, monitoring progress and quality, ensuring schedule requirements are met.- Check own and other people’s work.- Define technical schedule cost and / or program requirements.- Conduct assessments and develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems.- Effectively communicate and provide recommendations to internal customers through the analysis, preparation and presentation of technical data.- Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization.**Required Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related degree plus 6- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.- Experience in production, manufacturing support and/or quality assurance of electrical/electronic hardware for aerospace, automotive, healthcare or similar regulated industry.- Experience on Analog and/or Digital Circuit design, electrical testing and analyses e.g. signal processing, EMI, circuit stability, time and frequency response, power consumption, signal attenuation, noise filtering.- Experience in electronics production, manufacturing and quality procedures**Desired Characteristics**- Strong oral and written communication skills- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.- Proven ability to successfully interact with customers and suppliers- Six Sigma Green Belt certification**Additional Information**:**Relocation Assistance Provided**:No
