**About the Role**:**Grade Level (for internal use)**: 09 About the Role: The Quality Assurance Team within the Global Index Management & Production Group (IMPG). The Team: The QA team seeks a Data Specialist to support the Index Management & Production Group (IMPG) with a primary focus on the EMEA and Americas regions. The role involves designing and implementing validation checks for data produced and published by S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) across multiple asset classes, including Equity, Commodities, Multi-Asset, and Fixed Income. As an independent verification unit, the team ensures data accuracy and integrity across global markets. Responsibilities and Impact: As a QA Data Specialist, you will execute global real-time quality assurance checks to verify index calculation consistency before client delivery. In this role, you will also design, maintain, and enhance QA validation processes to support evolving business needs. You'll be part of a diverse international team spanning China, India, Mexico, and the US. This position offers extensive exposure to S&P DJI's global operations through regular interaction with Index Managers and Senior Business Leaders worldwide.Execute and validate real-time QA checks on Equity and Fixed Income index rebalances to ensure accuracy and integrity of index values before these are distributed to clientsDesign, maintain, and enhance existing QA validation processes used by Global Index Production teamsSupport operations primarily in the Americas and Asia regions, including new processes testing and root cause analysis investigationsUpdate records triggered by internal checks or external requests and complete several daily QA tasks.Build and nurture key relationships across departments, particularly with ICAD and Index Management groups What We’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Mathematics, Economics, IT, or Finance preferredStrong understanding of financial markets, asset classes and company fundamentalsBasic programming skills, preferably in Python, for coding and automation of calculation modelsDemonstrated excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities to solve non-routine problems in a timely and insightful mannerStrong problem-solving, time-management, attention to detail, and organizational abilities for efficient team collaborationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to take ownership, collaborate effectively, and manage projects independently Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Power Automate and PowerApps, particularly for SharePoint site interactionsAbout S&P Global Dow Jones Indic e sAt S&P Dow Jones Indices, we provide iconic and innovative index solutions backed by unparalleled expertise across the asset-class spectrum.
