Cost Accountant

MCUSA It is a new creation Company focus on Molds manufacturing located in Juarez Mexico.Our ownership has over half a century of experience in the molding industry.We pride ourselves in offering the highest level of quality, customer service, and tool design capability.**Position Overview**:- Coordinate physical inventories and cycle counts.- Maintain updated cost information in the IQMS system.- Investigate cycle count variances and generate corrective actions.- Keep standard costs updated in the Bill of Materials (BOM).- Audit standard cost versus actual cost to correct discrepancies.- Validate cost of goods sold to ensure accurate monthly closing.- Collaborate with the Materials department to determine the location or disposition of obsolete material.- Perform product margin and profitability analysis.- Report variances and their root causes on a regular basis.- Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing cost accounting information and trends.**Competencies**:Responsible for providing financial information to management, conducting research and analysis of accounting data, managing operational and raw material costs, variance analysis, bill of materials analysis, standard cost maintenance, and ensuring an effective system for monitoring and generating accurate cost information for Management.
