**Accountant**Our organization, a stable yet growing company, is searching for an experienced Accountant at our Queretaro facility.**Position Overview**:The Accountant will support the financial operations of the Querétaro office, ensuring compliance with Mexican accounting standards (NIF), tax regulations (SAT), and labor laws while collaborating with external accounting firm Tello. This role involves general accounting, financial reporting, banking, and payroll-related tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial processes in alignment with corporate policies and Mexican regulations.**Key Responsibilities**- Maintain general ledger (GL) records, process journal entries, and perform account reconciliations.- Verify supplier payments, manage cash flow, and reconcile bank accounts.- Review expense coding, intercompany transactions, and financial statements.- Ensure compliance with Mexican tax laws (ISR, IVA, IMSS, INFONAVIT, CFDI electronic invoicing).- Support payroll processing with external providers, ensuring accurate tax deductions and benefits compliance.- Assist in financial reporting, statutory filings, and external audits (SAT, IMSS, auditors).- Provide ad hoc analysis, process improvements, and ERP system updates.**Skills and Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Contador Público or Licenciado en Contaduría preferred).- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing.- Strong knowledge of Mexican and U.S. tax and labor regulations.- Experience with ERP systems (Epicor, Oracle, OneStream) and payroll software (UKG, NOMIPAQ, or similar).- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams across different locations.- _ Ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English (verbal and written)._**Work Environment**- On-site in Querétaro.- Limited travel for training or audits.- Competitive salary and benefits per Mexican labor laws.Employment Type: SalariedCompensation Type: Annual SalarySalary Range: 28,000.00 - 32,000.00 USDOur company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
