As a Sr Manager, Sales Operations at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing sales processes, analyzing market trends, and supporting the sales team to drive revenue growth and contribute to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies. The role aims to ensure that the sales management/operating function is efficiently managed and sales information is precisely and uniformly reported to the ICON C-suite, ILT, and CLT.What you will be doing- Developing and implementing sales strategies, processes, and initiatives to enhance sales performance and effectiveness.- Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.- Providing support and guidance to the sales team on sales tools, systems, and processes.- Managing the weekly and monthly sales reporting needs across the organization and may also assist as needed with the maintenance of the ICON Business Development Incentive Compensation Plan.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on sales objectives and initiatives.- Monitoring and reporting on key sales metrics, performance indicators, and trends.- Managing the creation and continued enhancing of service area forecasts for Commercial and Operational leadership.- Managing the completion of the weekly and quarterly sales performance by Service Area.Your profile- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.- +5 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or related roles within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or clinical research industry.- Relevant experience in a finance setting with progressive increases in responsibility and leadership- Solid understanding of accounting principles combined with a business focus- Excellent working knowledge of MS office package, in particular Excel with ability to manipulate and draw meaningful analysis and actions from data- Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth and the ability to plan and manage projects/ deliverables on time.LI-HybridLI-FB2What ICON can offer you:- Our success depends on the quality of our people.
