Senior Data Engineer - First Level Support Inflection Point • Monterrey, Nuevo León, México Descripción del trabajo Job Summary Looking for a software developer to work as 1st level support on day-to-day issues tied to the enterprise reporting platform in a Financial Institution. Basic Requirements Bachelor in computer science / information technology related disciplines. At least 3 years of experience, highly proficient in writing complex SQL queries targeting high performance execution. Experience with VCS such as Team Foundation Server and/or GIT / BitBucket. Experience with issue tracking systems and agile practices such as Jira, Scrum / Kanban. Excellent communication skills (excellent English). Proactiveness, Ownership, Teamwork and Continuous improvement skills. Desirable Qualifications Familiarity with Oracle DBMS systems. Experience in writing queries using database links across homogeneous Oracle DBMS. Experience in SQL query tuning and optimization of PL/SQL code for better performance. Experience developing PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions. Experience in creating / altering tables with appropriate indexes, constraints, views, materialized views, and triggers in Oracle systems. Experience in writing data movement packages using SQL Developer and Toad for Oracle. Experience in using ref cursors, bulk collect, and PL/SQL collections in procedures. Responsibilities Provide first level support to both business and technical teams in the acquisition and procurement of data stored in a variety of databases used by different business units. Execute time framed data loads (monthly, quarterly, annual) that enable different business areas to conduct their daily operations. Work as part of a couple agile teams to develop new products / enhance existing products that provide different capabilities to an investment organization. Own (be accountable) the data layer piece from a technical perspective, and work with various teams to make sure this infrastructure is online at all times, thereby providing 24x7 data to systems all across the organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr
