Job Characteristics:Responsible for planning and scheduling plant production and providing feedback for purchasing staff to aid in procurement of vendor components required to support production. Provides feedback to Customer Service on availability of finished goods.Education/Work Experience:Degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry or Logistics and two to four years of work experience. (Note: Global Operations requires 0-4 years of experience.)Independence Level/Reports to:Responsible for review of all jobs prior to release to production. Cancels, reorders, reschedules and adjusts job orders. Reviews daily dispatch list with Production Supervisors to maintain accurate availability dates. Interfaces with purchasing staff on a daily basis to coordinate expediting of components to support plant service level and provide an even flow of materials through production.
