Join us and let us focus together on what’s truly important: making lives better with new ideas and the latest technology around the world.Why you’ll love working for Siemens- Freedom and a healthy work- life balance- Embrace our flexible work environment with flex hours, telecommuting and digital workspaces.- Solve the world’s most significant problems - Be part of exciting and innovative projects.- Engaging, challenging, and fast evolving, cutting edge technological environment.- Opportunities to advance your career and mentorship programs on a local and global scale.- Contribute to our social responsibility initiatives focused on access to education, access to technology and sustaining communities and make a positive impact on the community.- Participate in our celebrations, social events and offsite business events.- Opportunities to contribute your innovative ideas and get rewards for them- Diversity and inclusivity focused.What will you do?- Determine HTS Classifications for raw materials and finished products for all BUs in Siemens MX according to the Mexican Tariff.- Determine Origin Qualification for finished products for ITESA factory.- Collaborate with Custom Brokers in order to obtain consensus on the HTS determination, also providing technical data as required.- Ensure the resolution of classification discrepancies with materials suppliers.- Ensure collaboration between Customs and Engineering for the obtaining of technical information.- Maintain records, log or changes and audit trail support, for the determination of classifications.- Proactively identify and classify new materials, according to the new projects, products or upcoming classification legal changes.- Ensure standardization of classification usage across the different custom ports of entry/departure.- Ensure the daily update of unique HTS in SAP.- Soliciting and contacting SIEMENS suppliers for FTA and other proof of origin.- Direct follow-up with Suppliers.- Audits compliance for the Certificate of Origin and to complete the auditing process in a timely manner.- Receipt of requests for proofs of origin of SIEMENS factories.- Data inputs in to track base.- Maintain records, log of changes and audit trail support for the suppliers and proofs of origin.Qualifications:- Advanced Customs experience, minimum 5 years of experience in an in-house customs declaration functions or equivalent- Degree on Engineering or International Trade related field- Knowledge: Proven knowledge on classification: Experience dealing with suppliers and engineering teams. Technical Knowledge on industrial products preferred. Familiarity with prints, designs, drawings, etc. Strong analytical skills required.- Experience in Customs working with special procedures and/or classification- Origin experience, Classification experience and experience in Special Procedures- English (intermediate-advanced)- Basic knowledge in EXCEL and ACCESS- Teamwork skill- Under pressure work skill- Proactivity- Articulate easily and effectivelyEqual Employment Opportunity Statement**Organization**: Country Functions & Departments**Company**: Siemens, S.A. de C.V.**Experience Level**: Experienced Professional**Job Type**: Full-time
