Job Purpose and Role We’re looking for an experienced Scheduling Specialist , this remote position is responsible for monitoring incoming mammogram and ultrasound orders and reaching out to patients to schedule appointments. You will play a vital role in keeping our facility schedules booked to capacity while providing excellent patient service during a potentially anxious time in their healthcare journey. Key Responsibilities: Monitor incoming order worklist for mammogram and ultrasound procedures Conduct outbound calls to patients to schedule appointments Make up to six contact attempts per patient to ensure successful scheduling Maintain facility schedules at maximum capacity wherever possible Handle inbound patient calls via provided extension when patients return calls Coordinate appointments across multiple facilities Document all scheduling activities in the Fuji RIS electronic medical record system Meet or exceed established KPIs for scheduling volume and appointment confirmation rates Provide timely follow-up and communication with patients throughout the scheduling process Required Qualifications: Experience in medical scheduling (foundation in the role preferred) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to interact professionally and empathetically with patients via phone and email Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote environment Reliable and accountable with consistent attendance and deadline adherence Comfortable with video calls and providing status updates through Google Meet Ability to accommodate EST working hours Preferred Qualifications: Experience scheduling in radiology or medical imaging environments Familiarity with Fuji RIS or similar EMR systems Background in scheduling mammogram and ultrasound procedures Spanish language proficiency (highly desired due to patient demographics, but not required) Coachable: Ability to quickly retain and apply new information Patient and Positive: Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor even with anxious or difficult patients Persistent: Make multiple contact attempts while remaining courteous and professional Organized: Manage multiple scheduling tasks and follow-ups efficiently Proactive: Take initiative in filling schedules and following up with patients Accountable: Take ownership of mistakes and actively work to correct them Empathetic: Understand that patients may be experiencing health concerns and anxiety #J-18808-Ljbffr
