As a Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and testing of our avionics products. This role requires a strong understanding of systems engineering principles, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities Develop and define system requirements, architectures and specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, and hardware engineers, to develop and validate system requirements. Conduct system-level troubleshooting and problem resolution. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project planning activities. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion. Coordinate with project managers to track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and management. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members to achieve project goals. Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Experience in systems engineering, systems integration, testing or hardware/software product development. Proficiency in systems engineering tools and methodologies. Experience in project management activities. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. Desired QualificationsFamiliarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ARP4754, DO-178, DO-254). Experience with system integration and testing. Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques. Knowledge of software development processes and programming languages (e.g., C, C++). Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Bash). Understanding of safety-critical systems and reliability engineering. Experience with aviation data transfer/communication standards: ARINC 664, Ethernet. Knowledge of avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
