RESPONSIBILITIES- Work closely with Line of Business Leaders to ensure manufacturing plans are aligned to Product Roadmaps.- Responsible for End of Line Testing Equipment, Parameters, scripts and Capex associated- Lead, Develop and implement manufacturing plans for assigned new products according to NPDI program- Lead and Provided direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs.- Support Vertiv manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods.- Identify, justify, pilot, and commission Advanced Manufacturing technologies, processes, equipment, and practices. Capital projects that support Growth, NPDI, Product Transfers, Technical Capacity and Footprint associated- Provide support for manufactured cost analyses of new and existing products.- Responsible for the execution of Manufacturing Readiness Checklist and deliverables of NPDI Process- Leader for Manufacturing Prototype builds along with the local operation team to achieve 2 weeks LT- Accountable and Supportive Role for Engineering Prototype builds with Design Engineering- Actively intervenes in growth strategies for assigned BU, footprint and technical capacity definition- Implement best manufacturing practices for existing processes and provide multi-site manufacturing engineering support.- Assist with business-critical capital projects including facility planning, layout, and cost justification.QUALIFICATIONS- BSME/IE/Business Operations Management and 2-4 years manufacturing experience- MSME/IE/MBA and 5+ years of Advanced Manufacturing experience- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma formal training or certifications.- Extensive experience in New Product Development and Product Transfers.- Excellent vertical communication, interpersonal, and motivation skills.- Demonstrated ability to think creatively; ability to coach, train, facilitate and lead teams effectively in a transformational work environment.- Demonstrated strong project management and technical skills; analytical skills; PC skills.- Demonstrated ability to achieve results through team building and teamwork.
