***- The Thermal Engineer- Understands the products, suggesting ideas and improvements back to group.- Assists with creation, reviewing, and systems-entry of new product specifications, ECNs, tests, procedures, user manuals, submittal drawings, and sales literature.- Develop team experience on thermal and refrigeration design tools.- Working with contract resources and/or manufacturers for prototype/production builds- Assists with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues.- Design and performs testing plans.- Works closely with technicians and junior engineers, providing technical support and guidance.Collaborates with other groups, including Electrical, Mechanical, Control engineers, System test, customer support, and manufacturing.**RESPONSIBILITIES**Lead technical development.**QUALIFICATIONS**- Bachelor of Science in Thermal or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.- 4 - 5 Years of engineering on Direct expansion, Chilled Water and Hydronic refrigeration system development/Design.- Must be capable to have comprehensive understanding of the Refrigeration system so a design or selection of its components can be done from scratch.- Working proficiency of mechanical and Thermal design concepts.- Ability to follow, create, and organize testing and instructional procedures.- Strong mechanical CAD tools experience primarily for review of thermal designs.- Experience with thermal Design software such as Refprop, Colidesinger or equivalent analysis package.- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and logically.- Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.- Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional Global Development Teams.Fluency in English**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**No special physical requirements.**TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED**- 10%LI-LL1
