To do this, we are investing in technology, and businesses focusing on micro-transit, commercial solutions for fleet customers, enhancing the vehicle ownership experience and developing the Transportation Mobility Cloud, which will host mobility-related solutions.- THE ROLE:The Launch STA Engineer position is dedicated to manage the external suppliers' industrialization readiness and their parts' approval, as well as to ensure suppliers support for their issues resolution during the launch period.- These team role is very important to assure Ford will launch the new products on time and with the quality our customers deserve.- YOUR IMPACT:The Launch STA Engineer key responsibilities are:- To track the suppliers industrialization readiness (through eAPQP) and parts' approval (PPAP). Status reports are needed frequently for management reviews.- To drive suppliers quality issues resolution during the launch period (AIMS).- To implement APQP/PPAP disciplines for new tooled end items, capacity uplift programs & ability to assess the Quality & Capacity requirements to meet Ford/AIAG guideline.- To proactively monitor, manage and escalate significant issues inhibiting supplier readiness (industrialization or part approvals) or if it represents a launch risk.- To represent and be supplier advocate in Cross-Functional Meetings.- To provide onsite support for build events at Mexico plants as needed, could be any plants in North America Ford Assembly plant- The priority is to ensure the suppliers are ready to support the programs according the launch phased requirements.WHAT YOU’LL NEED:- Bachelor or Science/Engineering or academic equivalent- Proficient in English, will work with global teams- Knowledge of STA Quality tools and systems- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes- Knowledge of Problem Solving/8D approachThe following skills are recommended qualifications for this role:- Manufacturing and Quality Experience- Cross-Functional/culture work experience- Program/Project/Product Development experienceCOMPANY DESCRIPTION:- DISCLAIMER:Ford Motor Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, as we are committed with a diverse workforce, and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran and basis of disability.**Id. de solicitud asignado automáticamente**- 62259BR**Nível Idioma Inglés**- Avanzado- Ninguna otra requerida**Disponibilidad para viajar**- SI**Rotación de turnos**- No**Frecuencia de viajes**- 1-2 por mes**Tipo de Contratación**- GSR
