**Role Summary**:This role is part of the site Order Engineering team responsible for preparingschedules, aligning engineering resources, and completing technicalactivities related to fulfilling customer orders. Additional responsibilitiesinclude quotation support, routine engineering analysis, detailedlayout/mechanical design, and operations support (i.e. manufacturing,supply chain, quality, warranty). The incumbent reports to the Order**Responsibilities & Requirements**: upport proposal activities include conducting pre-engineering work, todetermine technical scope, engineering labor, risk analysis and/ormake equipment selection outside of eCPQ- Review project specification from the order transfer file- Perform detailed layout and mechanical design including conductingroutine engineering analysis, design calculation and simulation.- Provide primary customer interface/support to other internal functions,providing technical guidance to clarify project requirements.- Coordinate Order Engineering resources and direct activities in multipleprojects.- Provide technical support to supply chain including review vendor andbuyout drawings- Support production by providing tactical advice and guidance onspecification deviations and waivers and other activities whererequired.- Review quality plan- Provide commissioning and warranty support as required.- Review complete technical documentation package to validateproduct performance against customer requirements and suggestsmodifications where required**Preferred Experience / Skills**: Engineering degree or equivalent and/or 5+ years related experience- Computer-Assisted Design/3-Dimensional design- Understanding of engineering documentation, drafting, geometricdimensioning and tolerancing- Effective oral and written communications- Collaborative interpersonal skills- Accountability and execution for completing work timely and tospecifications- Basic knowledge of information technology tools including Windows,Microsoft Office products and other related tools- Knowledge of analysis tools- Basic fluency in the English language**Primary Posting Location**: Santa Isabel Xiloxoxtla, Mexico**Job Posting Category**: Engineering/R&D**Job Advertising Title**: Engineer**Employment Type**: Full time**Auto req ID**: 56753BR**Country**: MexicoFlowserve is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, gender, disability or protected veteran status.
