Extrusion Production Engineer

**COFICAB****Solicita**:**Extrusion Production Engineer****Descripción y Requisitos****Position Objective**:Leads the extrusion scheduling section scheduling activities, monitors program execution, monitors on - field production performance, supports the execution team in the resolution of issues, verifies the organization and cleaness of the work areas, develops and implements production projects processes, procedures, instructions, and systems order to meet extrusion department objectives.**Main Responsibilities**:- Implements the Extrusion section organization, policy, processes, procedures, instruction, visual aid, information system and cross functional improvement projects in line with corporate standard.- Leads and conducts scheduling activities in coordination with logistics department such as production program analysis, detailed extrusion schedule development, production orders allocation by extrusion line and human resources allocation on extrusion lines.- Monitors extrusion daily program progress, defines and undertakes appropriated schedule updates to ensure products availability, optimized time and quality results, efficient speed, least raw materials, tools consumption and scrap quantities (cooper, colorant and PVC ) generated in order to meet KPIs and target Objectives.- Collects and reviews production reports, checks reported process parameters, changeover and start -up results, wire breaks, over consumption, control plan results, scrap results. Identifies potential parameters discrepancies, performance gap or organization and cleaness of the work areas omission and defines immediate corrective actions by deploying Fast Problem-Solving techniques.- Follows up closely production execution on the shop floor, performs diagnostic of reported problems within extrusion section (reparation, broken wire, raw, material overconsumption, work areas organization and cleaness (5S), defines and supports the production execution team in the deployment of immediate corrective actions. Implements and monitors on-field results defined action plan.- Reviews first level maintenance activities of extrusion lines and its released equipment, defines and monitors implementation of required actions. Contributes to the development of TOR for new technical equipment and tools acquisition or renovation and verifies technical offers adequacy with TOR.- Reviews Extrusion section KPI´s ad propose accordingly continuous improvement plan of process, procedures, and system to meet the production Department and the Company objectives.- Complies with the Quality and EHS System requirements.
