egnite is seeking a Director, Real-World Evidence Sales & Lifesciences Partnerships to drive revenue growth by diagnosing customer problems, shaping data-driven solutions, and commercializing real-world evidence insights, data assets, and clinical trial programs for lifesciences companies, consulting/advisory firms, and data aggregators. This role owns new business acquisition and account expansion while identifying, structuring, and contracting strategic technology and data partnerships that support lifesciences trial programs. The ideal candidate brings a lifesciences strategy consulting or in-house strategy background, strong executive presence, and a clear understanding of how pharmaceutical and medtech companies use data and technology to solve clinical and commercial challenges. This is a high-impact opportunity for a commercially minded strategist to transition into a quota-carrying role with hands-on coaching from experienced commercial leadership.
Duties
& Responsibilities Own revenue growth by leading hypothesis-driven commercial engagements that translate real-world evidence, data assets, and clinical trial capabilities into contracted partnerships. Lead the full commercial lifecycle — from problem framing and structured discovery through executive presentations, solution design, proposal development, contracting, and close — while building and executing account-level sales plans.
Develop trusted, senior-level relationships with pharmaceutical and medtech decision-makers; build a deep understanding of customer portfolios, strategic priorities, and unmet clinical and commercial needs. Structure and communicate compelling value propositions using executive-ready materials that clearly link data, insights, and outcomes to customer objectives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales leadership, marketing, enablement, and product teams to shape go-to-market strategy, support joint selling, and inform offering evolution. Identify, evaluate, and contract strategic technology and data partners to support lifesciences trial programs; monitor partnership performance and contribution to bookings and pipeline.
Design and support pilot programs in partnership with internal teams to generate proof points, case studies, and expansion opportunities. Represent egnite externally at industry conferences and events to build credibility, expand executive networks, and uncover new commercial opportunities.
Maintain disciplined pipeline management and reporting through accurate Salesforce documentation, dashboards, and forecasting. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred. 5+ years of lifesciences strategy consulting or in-house lifesciences strategy experience; with exposure to pharmaceutical or medtech commercial and clinical decision-making; cardiovascular experience a plus, sales experience a plus.
Demonstrated experience leading hypothesis-driven client conversations, structuring ambiguous problems, and presenting recommendations to senior executive audiences. Strong understanding of the U.
S. healthcare and lifesciences ecosystem, including how organizations leverage real-world data, analytics, and technology to drive clinical development and commercialization. Familiarity with the RWE/RWD landscape and major healthcare data sources (e.g., Optum, IQVIA, Truveta, Clarivate) preferred.
Proven ability to translate complex analyses and insights into clear, persuasive commercial narratives that drive decision-making. Comfortable operating with high autonomy and accountability in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with direct ownership of outcomes.
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written. Proficiency in PowerPoint (executive storytelling), Excel, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
