As an EDS Ford Champ you will have the opportunity to learn and develop technical skills in designing, manufacturing, and troubleshooting automotive wiring systems.**What you´ll need**:- Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field- 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and electrical circuits.- Basic understanding of automotive systems.- Familiarity with wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.- Understanding of electrical connectors, terminals, and cable assembly techniques.- Programming Languages:- Proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or SQL is essential for writing code and managing data.- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under supervision.- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report findings.**What you´ll do**:- Assist in the design and layout of wiring harnesses- Analyze Program Direction Letters and Trim Spiders.- Maintain build level complexity charts.- Perform Harness Complexity Analysis.- Collaborate with teams for accurate cost estimation.Support in selecting appropriate materials and connectors based on performance and cost considerations- Ensure compliance with cost, weight, quality, and timing targets.- Audit and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for builds.
