Overview:Celanese is looking to expand our Tax team in Mexico City with a new Tax Advanced Specialist.**Responsibilities**:- Work closely with tax team members on all Mexico direct and indirect tax matters;- Monthly Mexico VAT compliance filings;- Monthly provisional income tax filings and payment calculations;- Support senior team members in responding to audit inquiries from Mexico tax authorities (SAT);- Support statutory accounting team by providing tax information for use in statutory financial statements;- Support senior team members in quarterly tax provision processes.- Support senior team member in annual tax return filings and annual tax provision processes.Qualifications:- Bachelor of accounting or finance related- Minimum of 4-years of tax experience in public or industry- Experience in preparing annexes for the tax audit report and ISSIF (Fiscal Audit Report Filing System)- Desirable to have knowledge of Deferred Income Tax.- Good knowledge of indirect (VAT) and direct Mexico tax laws and regulations;- Good knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system;- Proactive, result oriented, fast learner, persistent, stable and willing to work under pressure;- Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, stakeholders and partners across the organization;- Proficient in use of Excel.
