Process Engineering Manager

Executes all engineering deliverables of a customer/engineering program. Supports the Cross Functional Team and other central functions by reviewing Customer SOR’s and Technical Specifications received during the quotation process, and provide input regarding the product to be offered. Interfaces with Program Management on the development of customer and program milestones and interfaces with Program Management and Sales groups to agree upon engineering resource levels required to satisfy the SOR, per the APQP process. Measure and implement team metrics and develops and administers work schedules across assigned personnel. Assures implementation and proper usage of engineering tools. Evaluates proposed engineering changes for impact and feasibility, on the product and process prior to incorporation. Performs financial validation of product changes prior to implementation. Works with suppliers, vendors, customers and Dura Quality group to ensure that they are capable to meet all quality standards which are identified on the production drawings. Assists the Sales & Marketing group in winning new business by:|'supplying input to define the product that will meet all customer requirements for content and performance; supporting customer specific meetings during the RFE process; working with other cross-functional groups to develop a cost model that supports the winning of new business.' Reviews, edits and approves Engineering APQP presentation materials prior to each APQP Review. Develops a system for knowledge retention and best practices across each customer in scope. Identifies technologies that meet customer content for current and future programs. If a product segment gap is identified, will develop the required technology. #J-18808-Ljbffr
