Senior Site Reliability EngineerSite Reliability Engineer to join this fast growing, well-funded business with cloud built on AWS. With first class skills in AWS the Site Reliability Engineer must demonstrate expertise in spinning up featured environments. Reporting to the CTO, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Reliability Engineer to progress their career to the next levelThe SRE must have strong evidence and examples of creating structured infrastructure with reliability, efficiency, and consistency. Having worked within a AWS environment using key features like S3, RDS, Lambda, EBS etc.)The Site Reliability Engineer will be joining a team of 30 engineers, remote first team. Site reliability is still in early stages for this medium sized firm. As such, the SRE will be comfortable working in a slightly ambiguous and chaotic environment Bringing their expertise to the table to structure and organise Site Reliability - taking SR to the next level for this company. The position could suit a DevOps or SRE background.**Responsibilities**:- Work closely with the CTO building out site reliability for SaaS platform.- Monitoring, introducing and improving metrics- Min 3yrs AWS (S3, RDS, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk)- Capability with command line Linux- Using Infrastructure As Code (IAC), to build cloud infrastructure on AWS- Build code with agility, control and consistency- Take manual processes and automate- Awareness of technical nuances of API integration, Security and authentication nice to have- Self-starter, resilient and independent ability to build robust, scalable site reliabilityQualifications:- Minimum 3 - 4yrs in a SRE / DevOps position with a small / start-up environment- Ability to talk with C-level, developers and partners- AWS - ideally with certifications**Benefits**:- Competitive salary & stock options- Bonus- Medical- Dental- Vision- Flexible work schedules (PTO) and a remote-first team.**Tech stack environment includes**:Java, JavaScript, JSON, API, Node.js, AWS (S3, EC2, Glue), AWS RDS/MySQL, EBS, Linux command line, OAuth, security, Open API / REST API, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, SQL, terraform, Kubernetes, SQS queue, S3 bucket, gitlab, CI/CD**Salary**: $2,193,373.00 - $2,693,373.00 per year**Experience**:- SRE: 1 year (required)- Startup: 1 year (preferred)- 100% remote: 1 year (required)**Language**:- English (required)
