Seat Structures D&R EngineerQualifications:- BS in Engineering (M.E. preferred)- Minimum of 2 years design and release engineering experience. Experience in Seats, Seat Structures/Mechanisms or Body Structures is preferred- Strong understand and experience with fundamental engineering tools and processes such as DFMEA, CAE, Catia, GD&T, Experience on structures processes (e.g. stamping, welding, riveting, metal forming) and CAE analysis.- Experience in all phases of product development process: program start to launch.- Experience/knowledge of metal forming and fastening processes (stamping, welding, riveting, etc ) and mechanisms is preferred.- Previous program launch experience:to- Demonstrated track record of problem solving in a team setting.- Ability to communication clearly, is proactive and organized.- Strong willingness and ability in a team setting and at time remotely.Company Description:Disclaimer:Ford Motor Company is an equal opportunity employer committed to a culturally diverse workforce. Focus is on delivery of key program milestones, engineering deliverables, cost, weight and quality. This includes delivery of all engineering requirements (DFMEA, Verification Testing, Prototype Tooling & Parts, Launch, etc ) according to the content of the assigned programs.- The Seat Structures Engineer interacts with multiple activities (Program Team, CAE/CAD, Finance, Purchasing, VO, STA, Suppliers and others) to complete the development of a program, from Program Start (PS) milestone to J1. Current model cost and quality deliverables as well as some core engineering elements are included in the position responsibilities.
