**Engineering Manager**Position Overview**Key Responsibilities**- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical engineers and designers. Foster a collaborative environment focused on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.- Technical Oversight: Provide technical direction and expertise in the design and development of custom tooling, jigs, fixtures, and automated assembly lines. Ensure all designs meet performance, safety, and cost specifications.- Sales & Marketing Support: Work closely with sales and marketing to understand customer needs and market trends. Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for technical inquiries during the sales cycle. Develop technical content, presentations, and product demonstrations to support business development efforts. Participate in client meetings to present technical solutions and capabilities.- Project Management Support: Support project managers in developing and managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Collaborate with project management to ensure successful and on-time delivery of engineering projects. Provide technical guidance and risk assessment to project teams.- Innovation & Strategy: Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies in automation and robotics. Contribute to the long-term engineering strategy, ensuring it aligns with company goals and industry trends.**Qualifications**- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.**- Experience**:- 5+ years of progressive experience in a mechanical engineering role, with a strong focus on design and development.- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.- Demonstrated experience in automation, robotics, tooling, and manufacturing processes, specifically within the automotive industry (e.g., automotive interiors, chassis, body-in-white).- Previous experience working directly with sales, marketing, or customer-facing teams is highly desirable.**- Skills**:- Expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).- Strong understanding of robotics systems (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB) and their integration.- Proficiency in reading and creating pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, CNC machining, and welding.- Familiarity with machine safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ANSI, ISO) and ergonomics principles.**- Language**:- Fluent in Business English, both written and verbal.- Proficiency in other languages (e.g., German, Spanish, Mandarin) is a strong plus.**Desired Characteristics**Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 al mesBeneficios:- Seguro de vidaExperiência:- industria automotriz: 5 años (Obligatorio)- ing. mecánica, con énfasis en diseño y desarrollo: 5 años (Obligatorio)- automatización, robótica y procesos de fabricación: 5 años (Obligatorio)- SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD: 5 años (Obligatorio)- Fanuc, KUKA, ABB: 5 años (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
