At Cognizant we promote an inclusive culture, where we value different perspectives providing career growth and development opportunities. #WelcomeToCognizantWe have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a **Frontend Developer****What you’ll do**:- Designing and developing a component library for Figma and Web Components- Develop prototype code following the best practices and design patterns in Storybook- Explore micro frontend architectures, server-side rendering and automation for developer experience- Collaborating with multiple teams including business stakeholders, UX Design and Product teams.- Designing and building common re-useable code/framework working with Architects and other technical teams in the InnerSource community.- Providing direction and recommendations on emerging trends and technologies, framework, and development methodologies by conducting assessments of benefits, risks and how it best fits within the environment**Preferred experience**:- 5+ years of experience as Frontend Developer or Frontend Lead- Experienced building Component Libraries with Web Components (StencilJS preferred but Lit experience is a plus)- Strong understanding of accessibility concepts- Must have deep understanding of web security and OWASP principles- Ability to review existing web architecture and provide feedback on pros and cons, industry best practices, etc.- Must be a strong communicator and influencer, with technologists- Experience leading Web development projects- Familiarity with any public cloud service including Serverless option- Advanced Level of English**Why Cognizant?**Improve your career in one of the largest and fastest growing IT services providers worldwideReceive ongoing support and funding with training and development plansHave a highly competitive benefits and salary packageGet the opportunity to work for leading global companiesWe are committed to respecting human rights and build a better future by helping your minds and the environmentWe invest in people and their wellbeing.We create conditions for everyone to thrive.
