**JOB DESCRIPTION**: The MRO Buyer is responsible for coordinating the movement of purchased materials from suppliers and addressing any supply/supplier issues. The MRO Buyer is also responsible for maintaining and creating new relationships with suppliers and negotiation of prices and cost-saving measures to fit within the company budget. Other tasks include resolving issues pertaining to material defects, invoice discrepancies as well as delivery timelines.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Prepare purchase orders and review requisitions for goods and services.- Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.- Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.- Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.- Follow up on MRO purchase orders- Ensure all requisitions and purchase documents comply with established processes, policies, and procedures- Update core data and vendor details in the system- Maintain inventory for indirect materials to meet stated goals or inventory turns and cycle counts- Maintain the cost-quality relation**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:- Bachelor's degree- Bilingual- 3 to 5 years of experience in MRO purchasing- MRP System- Price negotiation with suppliers- Previous experience in sew industry (desirable)- Advanced excelTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoPrestaciones:- Vales de despensaTipos de compensaciones:- Bono de asistencia- Bono de puntualidadEducación:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Experiência:- Compras MRO: 3 años (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)
