This role will have direct management and oversight of the Health, Safety, Security and Environmental plans, policies, procedures, and compliance programs for the O&M operations at the facility.**Responsibilities**:- HSSE Support for the Mexico O&M Monterrey Power Plants**Required Skills / Knowledge**:- Demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety laws and regulations- Have established project management skills- Have the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs- Strong computer skills- Excellent oral and written communication skills- Ability to deal with complex safety situations- Must be a self-starter with a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently- Skilled at customer-focused Service Excellence (familiarity with the following concepts, Data-Driven, Continuous Improvement, Process Improvement, Lean 6 Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and Change Management- Possess excellent leadership skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems**Experience**:- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience supporting in HSSE at least one power plant is required for this position.**Education Requirements**:- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Safety, Environmental or a related field.- Formal Certifications (Diplomados with DC3s) on Mexican Health Safety Security and Environmental regulations, preferably related to the power industry- Extensive knowledge on the following:- ISO 9001:2015- ISO 14001:2015- ISO 45001:2018- Normatividad ASEA- Normatividad STPS Required Training with DC3 on:- NOM009STPS201- NOM033STPS201- NOM029STPS201- NOM017STPS200- NOM031STPS20- NOM031STPS2011**Physical Requirements**:- Position requires periods of intense physical exertion, including walking, climbing, and lifting.- Ability to lift and move material up to 40 pounds.- Ability to climb and perform a function up to a 12-ft ladder.**What We Offer**:- Supportive company culture that values its employees- Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision & 401 K Plan- Paid Time Off & Holidays- Extra money in your paycheck - Employee Referral Bonus- Personal Development & Career Succession Planning- Company sponsored Perks & Discount programsEthosEnergy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
