Where no two days are the same.**YOUR ROLE**Collaborate with engineers, geoscientists, data managers, and other software developers to define, build, and deliver solutions to our most challenging upstream business problemsContinue to learn and share software industry best practices with team members**YOUR PROFILE**- Good conversational **English**(B2, C1, C2)- Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages**:C#/.NET, Python (preferred)**:- Extensive experience with web technologies such as **HTML, CSS and JavaScript**:- Experience with modern web frameworks/libraries such as **React, Angular, ASP.NET MVC**:- Good grasp of the **REST architectural style** and experience implementing REST APIs using ASP.NET Web API- Solid grasp of **Python**syntax and core concepts- Experience with popular Python frameworks (**Dash, Flask**)- Experience building data models and data access layers against either **SQL or NoSQL** databases- Experience designing, developing and testing reporting code based on requirement analysis, utilizing SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services(**SSRS**)- Strong **communication**skills and ability to **work in a collaborative environment** with software developers and domain experts- Strong grasp of **software engineering best practices** for code quality and maintainability such as OOAD, SOLID principles, and automated testingPreferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:- Prior work experience in the upstream oil and gas industry- Prior work experience with large scale data management systems- Experience working on teams following Agile software development methodologies- Experience participating in the user centered design process**WHAT YOU WILL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE**- At Capgemini Engineering, we encourage flexibility in how, when, and where people get their work done, allowing a better work-life balance, and greater empowerment.
