Your success in this position will require you to set and meet appropriate expectations with customers and delight customers by anticipating their needs. You will be accountable for meeting commitments and producing quality, tested software. High output, driven developer, able to work in a team setting.- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver seamless solutions.- API Integration: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services effectively.- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices.- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce development standards.- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose their adoption where applicable.**Requirements**:**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**:- 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development, with at least 3 years working with Laravel.- Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Laravel framework, MVC architecture, and object-oriented programming.- Database Skills: Hands-on experience with MySQL or other relational databases, including database design and optimization.- API Development: Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.- Frontend Interaction: Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, or similar) and frontend-backend integration.- Tools: Experience with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.- Testing: Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools.- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a team player mindset.**WE CONSIDER IT A PLUS IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH**:- Experience with Python development and frameworks like Django.- Familiarity with other full-stack environments, such as Node.js with Express or Ruby on Rails.- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.- Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).**ABOUT US**:We offer a work environment that also works for you through remote teams, flexible schedules, open PTO policy, and a flat organization that embraces the diverse backgrounds and skill sets across our teams to continue to drive Metova forward on our path to success.
