Blue Yonder Title: Solution Architect - Transportation Management Systems (TMS)Other comparable titles: Senior Architect, Applications Solution Architect, Software Solutions Architect, TMS Consultant, TMS Functional Delivery LeadLocation: Flexible in-country (Mexico)OverviewBlue Yonder is a leading SaaS and AI-driven Global Supply Chain Solutions software product company, and a Glassdoor “Best Places to Work” employer.We are seeking multiple Solution Architects and Sr Solution Architects to join the Delivery Services team where your core focus is to ensure customers realize value from their Blue Yonder Transportation Management solutions.Scope of roleThe Solution Architect will be the lead functional consultant for Blue Yonder Transportation Management Systems solution implementations for Fortune 500 customers across the Americas region.In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products in the Transportation Management space, as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations.You will be the functional liaison across of key stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution.Our current technical environment- Understand the basics of APIs-SOAP/REST, XMLs, JSONs- Inclination to understand and learn simple SQLs- Report writing and validationWhat you’ll do- Drive the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Transportation Management software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologies- Lead solution design to ensure clear construct and validation tasks and timeline- Conduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing and deployment phases of the project to ensure a seamless transition to our steady state associates- Sustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure successful time to value and definitive customer satisfaction- Assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints and/or product roadmaps- Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects- Communicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements- When not actively working on implementation projects, assist our support services group with support casesWhat we are looking forIndustry and Product Experience:- Minimum 5 years of specific experience working within Blue Yonder’s Transportation Management Systems, either as a customer of Blue Yonder or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder solutions for customers preferred- Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading Transportation Management Solutions, such as IBM (Logistics & Supply Chain) Oracle (OTM), SAP, Manhattan, E2Open, o9 Solutions, may be considered- Experience in a customer-facing role where you led n the gathering of requirements, formulating a software solution, and persuading stakeholders- Current or prior experience working in a management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center preferred**Skills**:- Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, inventory optimization concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences- Basic Excel skills (data cleansing, pivot tables)- Ability to read and execute simple SQL queries preferredAdditionally preferred abilities (dependent upon customer project assignment):- Ability to qualify for SF85P public trust security clearance- Ability to clear a background check and drug test, fingerprints, and photocopy of US passport or birth certificate**Education**:- Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred- Bachelor’s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degreeOur ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
