The region includes 14 sites in 7 countries and plays a critical role in Essity’s operations, producing the full range of Personal Care, Professional Hygiene, and Consumer Tissue products to support accelerated growth.In addition to the operational responsibilities in the LATAM region, the role is a functional member of the Consumer Goods LATAM Business Team and an integral part of the GSC leadership team. Together with the GSC Lead Team, the role is accountable for defining and executing Essity’s global Supply Chain strategy. The role combines regional operational delivery with strategic business partnership, while also acting as a global functional leader to drive the implementation of the company’s supply chain strategy agenda.The role ensures coordination of activities within the function to support key business objectives and aligns product supply strategies — including the implementation and follow-up of I-Care and Total Productive Maintenance initiatives. The position reports to the President of Global Supply Chain and is part of the global GSC leadership team.**What you will do**- Leads and builds healthy, safe, and world-class manufacturing, planning and logistics operations and provides engaging leadership emphasizing Essity’s Beliefs and Behaviors- Leads and develops the Manufacturing LATAM Leadership team- Responsible for achieving all Supply Chain targets in the area including Safety, Quality, Environment, Cost, Delivery and Morale.- Defines and proposes strategies and objectives to optimize long term manufacturing structures and support Essity’s Sustainability targets- Applies and secures policies and guidelines as developed by the organization.- Ensures all Supply Chain functions collaborate in an effective and sustainable way, align on priorities, and continues a culture of accountability and continuous improvement- Builds operational excellence and capability driving new thoughts in approach, process and methodology, including digitalization of operations- Leads, manages and coordinates all activities in the function in line with relevant business units targets and own unit targets.- Identifies, generates and evaluates concepts for the development of the product supply process in order to improve Product Supply Key Performance indicators like i.e. manufacturing costs, investment utilization- Follows internal and external trends in technology development related to the area of responsibility and ensure appropriate adjustments.- Contributes to performance target setting and continues improvement processes led by the business unit.- Contributes to the development of the overall business unit strategic plan.**Who you are**- Master’s degree or equivalent, preferred in Manufacturing or Supply Chain management, or a related technical field.- 15+ years of leadership experience in Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing within a complex matrix organization, ideally in FMCG, with proven international exposure leading operations outside Latin America- Well-rounded understanding of entire End to End Supply Chain with functional expertise in manufacturing, planning and logistics functions, managing multi-site operations and large-scale organizations- Proven track record of driving transformational changes, building strong teams by enhancing operational capabilities, and ensuring disciplined implementation of operational excellence- Strategic vision and ability to act as a true business partner, aligning supply strategies with organizational goals- Successful implementation of continuous improvement methodology (Lean 6 Sigma, TPM)- Excellent communication and leadership capability with a strong ability to engage and motivate- High capacity for excellent and proactive stakeholder management and ability to build trust- Fluent in Spanish and English, any additional languages are a plus- Ability to travel up to 70% within the region and beyond.- Located in South America, preferably in Mexico City or M
