**Be a part of the Next Disruption in the Solar Industry****The Compliance Engineer I**SOLRITE is searching for a Compliance Engineer I for our Technical Services team. This position primarily supports the partners in meeting SOLRITE’s quality standards and any applicable codes on their installations by providing design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting support for solar and solar storage systems. Additionally, the position is responsible for the continuous innovation of the design and installations of our dealers to ensure the best customer experience and low cost of ownership.**Responsibilities**- Serves as a technical lead and actively participates in complex detail design and execution- Conducts daily reviews of electrical, mechanical design, and shade study submissions.- Provides solutions for unresolved or complex issues, including administrative problem-solving support to internal operations staff and Dealers, and collaborating closely with dealers, internal technical teams, and manufactures to resolve technical issues in a timely manner- Acts as a key decision maker for complex engineering issues; potential larger-scale business implication issues shall be reviewed and approved by management- Stays up to date on changes to electrical codes, standards, and best practices on behalf of the Technical Services Department; tracks applicable requirements, codes, standards, and guidelines related to system designs- Completes other necessary duties as assigned**Minimum Requirements**- Bilingual- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering- 3+ years of experience in the Solar Industry- Extensive and current knowledge of the US National Electrical Code- Experience resolving customer service issues and diagnosing or troubleshooting PV, PV Storage systems, and its electrical components for proper system performance- Must be certified, where applicable, on each technology relevant to installations**Preferred Qualifications**- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of two (2) years of applicable experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in residential solar, field operations, and project management**Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**- Knowledge of mechanical design, electrical design, and theory- Familiarity with current residential PV electrical and mechanical equipment- Must be detail oriented and efficient- Ability to identify solutions to resolve technical problems- Keen understanding of technology integration of existing electrical systems- Demonstrates the ability to make reports based upon findings- Ability to create strategies based on goals and initiatives- Strong problem-solving skills- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, includes drafted plans, sections, elevations, schematics, and wiring diagrams- Strong organization skills and communication, both verbal and written- Demonstrates the ability to make reports based upon findings**Working Conditions**- Open-office environment- Willingness to work outside of regular hours as required to address the business needs of strategic partners- 10-20% estimated travel time**Location**:- Tijuana, Mexico- We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
