Director Supply Chain Business Operations

**Job Summary**- This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing supply chain processes, and contributing to the overall success and growth across a large business group or region(s). The role supervises and leads a team of operations professionals (managers and senior individual contributors) providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations. The role plays a critical role in shaping the company's supply chain strategy, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring smooth operations.**Responsibilities**- Leads a team of managers and senior individual contributors for business operations function by setting overall program objectives and ensuring timely and effective execution.- Manages planning, design, implementation, communication and delivery of the company's demand/supply management and business process initiatives across a large business group or region(s).- Actively partners with internal and external stakeholders and/or suppliers on a regular basis, and manages 3rd party relationships.- Drives multi-year strategies and initiatives at the regional/global/business group level by exercising governance oversight in one or more areas (e.g., key policy decisions, resolution of high impact issues, and new product introduction).- Monitors, diagnoses, and drives resolution for any operational issues.- Identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes across a large business group or region(s), thereby increasing efficiency and reducing costs.- Directs the creation of reports and analysis to inform business plans and gauge performance against set goals.- Manages the allocation of resources, including personnel, budgets, and equipment, to ensure optimal operational performance.- Holds responsibility for talent management and succession planning, ensuring that the appropriate tools and processes are in place to support the team.**Education & Experience** Recommended**- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.- Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.**Preferred Certifications**- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification- Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations)**Knowledge & Skills**- Continuous Improvement Process- Data Analysis- Enterprise Resource Planning- Finance- Inventory Control- Inventory Management- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Lean Manufacturing- Material Requirements Planning- Materials Management- Process Improvement- Procurement- Production Planning- Purchasing- SAP Applications- Supply Chain- Supply Chain Analysis- Supply Chain Management- Supply Chain Planning- Warehousing**Cross-Org Skills**- Customer Centricity- Prioritization- Resilience- Team Management- Strategic Thinking**Impact & Scope**- Impacts multiple functions and may act as a lead to peers on cross-functional project teams working to establish and execute business goals.**Complexity**- Contributes to the development of company objectives and achieves goals through subordinate high-level individual contributors and managers.**Disclaimer
