**Job Title**: Technical WriterUser Education Specialist**Location**: Remote**Department**: Product**Reports To**: VP of Product Manager**About Us**Specright offers cloud-based software (SaaS) for specification data management to Enterprise and Mid-Market level companies with complex needs. Whether it's packaging, formulas, or products, Specright helps companies reduce costs and empower efficiencies by sharing, analyzing and auditing specifications.**Role Overview**You'll be responsible for creating, maintaining, and evolving high-quality documentation and educational content that empowers our users to understand and use our product effectively. This includes user guides, release notes, onboarding materials, FAQs, and in-app help content.**Key Responsibilities**- Write, edit, and maintain clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for product features, workflows, and updates.- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Professional Services and the Customer EducationSupport teams to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.- Create and update onboarding materials, tutorials, and help center articles.- Develop content strategies for new feature rollouts and ensure timely documentation updates.- Maintain a consistent voice and tone across all user-facing content.- Monitor user feedback and analytics to continuously improve documentation and identify content gaps.- Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge-sharing resources as needed.- Maintain the product help portals to ensure that it hosts the latest material.**Requirements**:- 2+ years of experience in technical writing, user education, or a similar role-preferably in a SaaS organization.- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content.- Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, Notion, GitBook, or similar.- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development processes is a plus.- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, evolving environment.- Experience creating video tutorials, walkthroughs, or interactive guides.- Previous experience building and managing a knowledge base is a plus**What We Offer**- Competitive salary and benefits- Flexible work environment- Opportunity to shape the user experience of a growing product- A collaborative and supportive team culture
