Important IT company At the Latin American level, growth requires:**JAVA SDET (Software Developer Engineer in Test)****Job description**:As a member of the Maps Evaluation team with a focus on service evaluation, you will be involved in evaluating the full life cycle of test authoring, from the generation of test data to test execution in official signoff runs. You will be responsible for designing and implementing test cases to increase test coverage for highly visible & customer-impacting Maps services, as well as potentially creating associated tooling.- **Key Qualifications**_- 3+ years of hands-on Java development experience- Strong expertise in object-oriented programming languages, preferably Java- Strong expertise in SQL or other similar querying languages- Ability to explaining complex problems clearly and succinctly- Ability to work independently with mínimal direction- Passion to collaborate and iterate on ideas on a cross-functional team- **Daily Activities**:_- Collaborating cross-functionally with Maps test engineers and other Engineering teams- Authoring queries to extract relevant test data for existing or new tests- Authoring automated tests to ensure the logic mentioned above is correctly implemented, and does not regress during development iterations- Integrating such test suites into a continuously releasing and signing off workflow- **Education & Experience**_- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience will be considered.- **Job requirements**_- Java development expertise- SQL expertise- Testing mindset- Automation expertise- **Additional Requirements**_While the following experiences are not vital, one or more of these would be helpful in this role:- HOCON & Python development experience- Developing and/or deploying CI/CD pipeline experience**ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH ESSENTIAL**(Will be evaluated).**Job type**: Hybrid.**Location**: Guadalajara, Jalisco.**Salary**: $90,000 gross.**Benefits**: Excellent superior benefitsPostúlate por este medio y comparte tu CV.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoPuede trasladarse/mudarse:- Guadalajara, Jal.: Trasladarse al trabajo sin problemas o planear mudarse antes de comenzar a trabajar (Deseable)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
