**Location**:Reynosa Tamaulipas, MX, 88710**Business Unit**:Haydon Kerk Pittman**Posting Date**:Jun 13, 2025- The Quality Engineer is responsible for assisting in and supporting the investigation/resolution of quality related supplier, production, manufacturing, and design-related problems. They act as the customer's advocate when there are quality problems.**What you will do**:- Respond to day-to-day design, production, and customer quality issues related to production lines- Resolve production problems associated with process errors, non-conforming parts, and design problems- Interface with all aspects of Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Product and Sustaining Engineering, and Production Inventory Control in the performance of their assigned tasks- Monitor self-release of products and first article inspections as required- Reviews manufacturing instructions for completeness, correctness and comprehension by assembly personnel. Audits processes performed by assembly personnel relative to methods, tools and ability to follow manufacturing instructions- Responsible for the internal and external supplier audits and corrective action system including compliance verifications, documentation, and follow-up- Assists in insuring quality assurance specifications are met by engineering, manufacturing and other involved functions- Intervene on behalf of the customer to ensure their ultimate satisfaction with quality issues- Maintain records of investigation and resolution in accordance with procedures- Perform special tests as required by the quality assurance manager. Develops and assists in implementing testing procedures and in analyzing and interpreting test results- Conducts laboratory evaluations and analyses, prepares reports and makes recommendations- Utilize MRP/ERP software for data collection and incident resolution- Maintain all quality mandated statistical systems- Review, support, and complete RMA’s, including root cause analysis, developing corrective action, and turnaround in an efficient and timely manner- Other duties as assigned**We are looking for**:- Bachelor's degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience- 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment- Knoweldge as Leader auditor in ISO 9001, Core tools and similar standards a plus- Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma a plus- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar software- Ability to work as an individual contributor and within a team environment- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and solid communication skills required- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. occassionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantlyAMETEK, Inc. is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions serving a diverse set of attractive niche markets with annual sales over $7.0 billion.
