Process Engineering Team Leader

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doingWe're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.- DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide leadership and development of the Process Engineering and Process Maintenance Teams- Resource planning for the Business Unit Process Engineering Team- Develop, implement, and oversee Process Engineering processes and optimal approaches- Identify training needs and develop/execute where appropriate- Collaborate with other functional teams to drive best practices within the Business Unit- Work with company-wide Process Engineering Leadership Team to develop common practices- Assess the need of new equipment, defining the specifications and selection of the equipment- Coordinate and guide the negotiation, installation and equipment validation- Support the assessment of new products and the technology to manufacture them- Process Validation- Efficiency improvements involving time study, layout and ergonomics- Statistical Analysis- QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial) preferred- Electronics manufacturing experience (5+ yrs.)- Leadership experience- Working knowledge and experience with databases- Knowledge of “Lean Manufacturing “and experience with rapid change models such as Kaizen- Excellent presentation skills and experience in customer relations- Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and thrives on autonomy and the challenges of continuous improvement.- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt an advantage- If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us_We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by law.Canada: Title for the position will be in accordance with applicable national and local laws.
