We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid/Senior Shopify & WordPress Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. If you excel in Shopify maintenance and web development and are passionate about creating seamless, high-performing websites, we’d love to hear from youAs a part-Time Mid/Senior Shopify & WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, customization, and optimization of Shopify stores, as well as developing and maintaining WordPress websites. You will work closely with our team to ensure our clients' websites are functional, secure, and aligned with their business goals.**Responsibilities**:Shopify Development & Maintenance**:- Manage day-to-day maintenance of Shopify stores, including updates, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.- Customize Shopify themes to align with client branding and functionality requirements.- Implement and optimize Shopify apps for enhanced store capabilities.**WordPress Development**:- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins.- Ensure WordPress websites are secure, fast, and user-friendly.- Perform updates, backups, and other routine maintenance tasks.General Development Tasks- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to develop solutions that meet project objectives.- Debug and resolve issues with website functionality and integrations.- Test websites across multiple browsers and devices for compatibility.- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in Shopify and WordPress development.**Project Collaboration**:- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align website functionality with business goals.- Document processes and provide technical support as needed.**Requirements**:**Experience**:- 4+ years of experience with Shopify development, including Liquid coding, theme customization, and app integration.- 4+ years of experience with WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.**Technical Skills**:- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).- Familiarity with PHP for WordPress and Liquid for Shopify.- Understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization for web development.**Tools & Platforms**:- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).- Knowledge of third-party APIs and integrations.**Soft Skills**:- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.- Excellent time management and organizational skills.- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.Nice to Have- Experience with e-commerce integrations, such as payment gateways and inventory management systems.- Familiarity with page-building tools (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).- Knowledge of Shopify Plus features and capabilities.**Benefits**:- Work remotely Monday - Friday, 20 hours a week (no weekends)- Did we mention it's REMOTE?Wondering how our remote environment or our payment method work?
