We are seeking a talented and experienced **Senior Python Developer** to join our team.In this role, you will be responsible for modernizing and securing our Python environment, as well as maintaining and improving our Python tooling and libraries across various platforms.RESPONSIBILITIES- Assess and evaluate the current state of Python usage within the organization- Devise strategies for creating a modern, secure Python environment, including packaging and deployment on platforms such as Kubernetes, Windows, and Mac- Work with the Security team on Python environment deployment, configuration, and system scanning- Ensure a secure approach for managing Python libraries- Engage in the creation, review, and updating of standards and documentation- Evaluate current tools and integrate security scanning tools such as Twistlock, Linting, Coverity, and BlackDuck in CI/CD processes for Python- Manage Artifactory integration for Python versions and evolve scanning processes for malware in Python libraries- Develop processes and documentation for incorporating new libraries into PyPi and new Python versions into PyEnv repository- Establish policies for blocking Python library downloads from PyPi- Manage the open-source approval process for Python modules and libraries, including intake and review**REQUIREMENTS**:- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role- Proficiency in CI/CD with a strong background in Grafana and Splunk- Expertise in Kubernetes and familiarity with PyPy- Knowledge of Twistlock scanning, Linting, Coverity scanning, and SonarQube specific to Python code- Experience with BlackDuck integration in CI/CD for Python- Capability to manage Artifactory integrations and the process of updating Python libraries and versions- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ levelNICE TO HAVE- Understanding of Sonar- Flexibility to use TwistlockWE OFFER- Career plan and real growth opportunities- Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions- International Mobility Plan within 25 countries- Constant training, mentoring, online corporate courses, eLearning and more- English classes with a certified teacher- Support for employee’s initiatives (Algorithms club, toastmasters, agile club and more)- Enjoyable working environment (Gaming room, napping area, amenities, events, sport teams and more)- Flexible work schedule and dress code- Collaborate in a multicultural environment and share best practices from around the globe- Hired directly by EPAM & 100% under payroll- Law benefits (IMSS, INFONAVIT, 25% vacation bonus)- Major medical expenses insurance: Life, Major medical expenses with dental & visual coverage (for the employee and direct family members)- 13 % employee savings fund, capped to the law limit- Grocery coupons- 30 days December bonus- Employee Stock Purchase Plan- 12 vacations days plus 4 floating days- Official Mexican holidays, plus 5 extra holidays (Maundry Thursday and Friday, November 2nd, December 24th & 31st)- Monthly non-taxable amount for the electricity and internet bills
