Job Description:- Job ProfileLead a functional work team within Accounts Payable (AP) focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting transactions. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures.Main Accountabilities- Lead, motivate and develop the Accounts Payable Team- People manager, including staffing & selection, integration, facilitating technical/functional training, measuring individual and team performance, providing feedback, counselling and coaching as needed- Oversee a portion of the month end close process for the AP area.Basic Qualifications (mandatory)- University degree in Finance or equivalent gained thru working experience- At least 7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Accounting/Payable and at least 2 years in a Leadership position.- Thorough understanding of internal controls and accounts payable process- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with internal customers and external partners (composure, conflict management, customer focus, negotiating)- Ability to lead and inspire the team toward higher level of performance- Advanced SAP skills.- Bilingual skills (English & Spanish).First Brands Group is a proud equal opportunity employer.
