Location: Mita, JP, JP- Global Business Unit: PM- Job Function: Business Support- Requisition Number: - Description:**Job Summary**:Intellectual Property (IP) Specialist**General Responsibilities**:- Research, analysis, and management of intellectual property including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets- Review, drafting, and negotiation of IP-related agreements such as NDAs, licensing agreements, and joint development contracts- Planning and promotion of IP strategies in collaboration with internal departments such as sales- Coordination with external patent attorneys and law firms for filing, prosecution, and dispute resolution- Liaison and coordination on IP matters with overseas offices and partners- Conducting IP due diligence for new business initiatives and M&A activities- Planning and implementation of internal IP education and awareness programs**Functional Skills and Knowledge**:Required:- Minimum 5 years of experience in IP-related work at a company or patent law firm- Knowledge of Japanese and international IP systems- Practical experience in handling IP matters involving overseas entities- Business-level English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)- Strong Japanese communication and documentation skillsPreferred:- Qualifications such as Japanese Patent Attorney or IP Management Certification- Technical or legal background in pharmaceuticals or life sciences- Experience in IP operations within trading companies or manufacturing industries**Education**:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or an equivalent degree- Requisition Number: - Job Function: Business Support
