**Facility Specialist**:Villahermosa - Mexico**Facility Specialist**The Facility Specialist is responsible for performing scheduled maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, and other installed systems to ensure cost-effective, safe operation of assigned facility with a view to the long-term preservation of the asset value.**RESPONSIBLE**- Supervise the Facility Management (FM) organization and assist the Facility Manager with: Preparation of budget estimates and cost tracking reports; permits and license requirements; contractor selection for maintenance and running of the facility. With Procurement and Sourcing and Legal, provide advice on preparing contracts and negotiating revisions to contractual agreements.- Implement quality control programs using LEAN methodology to standardize and optimize facility performance in line with the Global Facility Management strategy.- Participate in facility projects to support key FM activities in operations, maintenance, property management, engineering, and construction.- Plan and direct FM services including facility operating systems, maintenance processes, repair and improvement, custodial services, and security operations.- Coordinate maintenance activities within the functions and departments to optimize the productivity and utilization of personnel and equipment.- Recommend operating methods and equipment to reduce FM costs through new sources, substitutions, improved systems or methods, service quality and safety.- Coordinate preparation of contract scope and specifications. Administer the facility service agreements for maintenance.- Ensure consistent implementation of standards for clean and tidy facilities and support operations through site-base auditing.- Coordinate campaigns for implementing the standard professional facility image.- Support the Shared Base Support activity in the facility.- Implement improvement actions identified in the FM Global or Facilities Scorecard Assessment.**ACTIVITIES**- Provide Supervision to personnel assigned to their support or service area in a precise and disciplined manner, following the procedures described in the operation, maintenance manual or regulations established by management.- Performs risk analysis, through the authorized HARC and/or JSA, of the areas and authorizes work permits for their personnel or third parties according to their level of competence and to the work plan or activities assigned by the FBO, performs constant supervision of such activities during the term of the work permit.- Coordinates operations between the different service disciplines contained in the SBS service scope, obtaining optimum productivity and utilization of personnel and equipment.- Supervises the technical staff under his charge, advising and ensuring compliance with best maintenance and safety practices.- Reviews and evaluates performance for each employee reporting to him/her, as well as ensuring that all personnel under his/her charge comply with safety standards.- Keeps inventory of parts, materials, consumables and supplies as low as possible and still meet the requirements and our internal customers, monitoring costs.- Reports accurately and in writing, the planning, execution, and results of activities assigned to him/her.- Participates in site surveys in an honest and responsible manner, provides a professional opinion during the surveys according to his/her level of competence and reports the result of the survey, follows up on the surveys, procurement processes and delivery of assigned services and materials until completion.- Understands and complies with Schlumberger regulations.- Maintains up-to-date training and certifications.**PROCESS AND EQUIPMENT**- Ensures proper maintenance of tools and equipment assigned to him/her.- Verifies that all equipment and equipment repairs comply with local regulations and SLB standards.- Ensures that all materials are in accordance with established and authorized by management, with the correct specifications and at the lowest price related to quality.- Keeps warehouses and assigned areas clean and orderly.- Ensures that executed tasks are reported on time.- Records all non-conformities and process deviations.- Adheres to the workflows described in the SBS procedures.- Orders materials and tools in a timely and accurate manner.- Maintains a level of competence appropriate to the activities performed.- Works effectively and successfully with co-workers (employees and contractors).**QUALITY AND HSE**- Promotes a culture of safety awareness within the maintenance culture.- Maintains a high level of participation in QHSE programs, particularly with process improvement.- Ensures that their work areas are safe, clean, and tidy always.- Maintains strict confidentiality of Schlumberger and client information.- Follows company health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.- Supports management efforts to ensure overa
