Job Description Summary
Oversees the administration and continual improvement of quality-management systems. Supports development of quality-assurance strategies, processes, guidelines and control plans that ensure quality and reliability of manufactured products. Leads the initiation and follow-up of corrective action requests and preventive measures to achieve cost of quality targets. Investigates and addresses trends with internal and external nonconformances. Leads, manages, and develops multiple teams, team leaders, quality specialists, and inspectors to ensure that quality standards are met.
Job Description
- Gestiona estrategias de organización de calidad aportando información, análisis y recomendaciones al pensamiento y dirección estratégicos; estableciendo objetivos funcionales en línea con los objetivos de la organización.
- Apoya estrategias operacionales de calidad analizando las tendencias; preparación de mediciones críticas; implementar estrategias de producción, productividad, calidad, servicio al cliente, seguridad, seguridad y salud; liderar mejoramientos del sistema; aplicación de políticas y procedimientos de garantía de calidad y requisitos gubernamentales; colaborar con otros miembros de la dirección para desarrollar nuevos diseños de productos e ingeniería y métodos de fabricación y capacitación; redacción y actualización de los procedimientos de garantía de calidad.
- Gestiona las estrategias financieras de aseguramiento de la calidad anticipando los requisitos, las tendencias y las variaciones; elaboración de planes de acción; medir y analizar resultados; iniciar acciones correctivas; minimizando el impacto de las variaciones.
- Establece estándares de calidad y fiabilidad estudiando los requerimientos de productos y consumidores con otros miembros de la gerencia y con los operadores de producción, técnicos e ingenieros.
- Establece estándares de materias primas estudiando los requisitos de fabricación y de ingeniería; conferir y negociar con los proveedores; elaboración de métodos y procedimientos de ensayo.
- Establece estándares de inspección de productos en proceso estudiando los métodos de fabricación; elaboración de métodos y procedimientos de ensayo.
- Establece estándares para la disposición del producto terminado mediante la elaboración de pruebas de evaluación, métodos y procedimientos.
- Establece estándares de reelaboración mediante la elaboración de métodos y procedimientos de inspección y pruebas físicas.
- Contribuye al aseguramiento de la calidad y al éxito de la organización al recibir solicitudes relacionadas, diferentes y nuevas; ayudando a otros a lograr resultados de trabajo.
- Todas las demás tareas asignadas.
- Knowledge and experience on IATF, CQI-9,11,12,14,15,27, GM standard QBIS, Q1 standard from Ford, corrective actions management, improvement systemic plans, etc.
- Knowledge and experience on metal mechanical industry.
- Tier 1-2 quality-management system experience.
- Customer specific requirements (GM, Stellantis, Nissan & Ford)
- Experience on customer and Third-Party Audits to the Quality System
- Knowledge on Core tools, analysis, and problem-solving tools (5why, 8D, a3, PDCA, QRQC, etc.).
- Finance general knowledge.
- Manage customer portals.
- Communication and leadership skills
