***- The Senior Manager of Materials, Warehouse, Logistics, Purchasing, and Planning is responsible for leading and integrating all supply chain functions to ensure operational excellence and alignment with business goals. This role oversees strategic sourcing, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and production planning. The position plays a critical role in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality across the supply chain while managing a team of four department managers and their respective teams.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Lead and align the functions of materials management, warehouse operations, logistics, purchasing, and planning to support business objectives.- Develop and implement strategic plans for procurement, inventory control, and logistics optimization.- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency in storage and distribution.- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of quality materials.- Collaborate with planning teams to forecast demand and align production schedules with inventory and procurement strategies.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all supply chain functions using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to ensure departmental goals are met and exceeded.- Foster a high-performance culture through leadership, coaching, and development of direct and indirect reports.- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.- Partner with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, finance, and quality to streamline operations and improve service levels.**QUALIFICATIONS**- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, including leadership roles in materials, logistics, purchasing, and planning.- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and driving operational improvements.- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.- Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, PMP, Six Sigma) preferred.- Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.- Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools (Oracle).- Relevant certifications in supply chain or operations management are a plus.**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.**TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED**- May travel to different office or plants locations, client sites, training or conferences may be necessary.
